70 years of turbochargers from Bannewitz
Kompressorenbau Bannewitz GmbH (KBB) celebrates an anniversary: 70 years of successful development and production of exhaust gas turbochargers.
From the town of the same name, located on the outskirts of the Saxon state capital Dresden, more than 83,000 units for ship engines and generators have been delivered. Making this possible are motivated and exceptional individuals who have been contributing with their unique skills and competencies for over 70 years. Each person brings their abilities into their work daily, collectively shaping KBB into a forward-looking company.
70 years marked by innovation and development – a reason to celebrate!
The festivities were initiated with an Open House event, which saw over 800 interested visitors despite the changeable weather.

As a special highlight for the company anniversary, on July 1, 2023, KBB invited guests to the "Gläserne Manufaktur Dresden". With employees and over 60 service partners from around the world, we looked back on 70 successful years.
Now, we turn our gaze towards the future and anticipate the next 70 years with excitement.
